Data Services and Documentation

In addition to computational systems, other resources exist for data-collection hosting and data management. In addition, TeraGrid partners are making a number of data collections available to the community. The following table provides a technical summary of data resources and associated documentation. Researchers interested in making use of these specialized resources can contact the sites directly.

Researchers with TeraGrid or PACI computing allocations are welcome to use the data services described here. Allocated users with large-scale or specialized requests should be prepared to justify their data service needs in more detail. (As always, all TeraGrid or PACI computing allocation awards include access to the disk space and archival storage necessary to conduct the proposed work.)

Eligible PIs who do not have a TeraGrid or PACI computing allocation can still make use of these data services and resources. For more information about accessing SDSC data services and resources, see DataCentral at SDSC.
